This companion to the guided walks takes you beyond the present-day streets of St Peter Port and into the layers of town history that still surround us.
The planned collection brings together four journeys: the nineteenth-century changing island, the streets around the eastern town centre, the North Esplanade and Bordage, and the South Esplanade to Hauteville.
Architecture, lost routes, changing communities and the remarkable incidents that give each street its character all have a place here.
